How to Become a Union Extra in Portland

When considering the pay you will receive for extra work, it is essential to remember that union affiliation can have an influence. The frequency of work available will vary depending on where you live, with Portland being an ideal location for extras due to the number of films being shot there. Joining a union such as the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) or the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) can benefit those seeking extra work in Portland.
